"I see tiny houses as a powerful tool to teach home construction job skills, build community, and provide affordable housing solutions, especially for our struggling veterans. Many people have reached out to me, all with the same objective – let’s build tiny homes for Veterans. Quality, yet affordable homes, that provides security, makes them proud of their living situation, and allows them to feel supported by their country in a way that would empower them to reach self-reliance.” - Zack Giffin

This opportunity to experience personal growth while helping others on a larger scale has been a blessing!

I have been to two workshops and have learned so much. The camaraderie at these workshops reminds me so much of my military days. The fact that with each build we have one less veteran off the street makes it that much better.
— N. Chapa, Veteran Workshop Participant
The team handled everything professionally and kept us all on track. Absolutely awesome. Can’t wait for the next one.
— C. Williams, Veteran, Sacramento, CA Workshop
I did a build in Oklahoma just recently with Zack and it absolutely rocked. I learned bunches and all for a good cause. You’ll have fun while you learn and while you help out a veteran!!
— A. Hickey, Veteran, Muskogee, OK Workshop
Operation Tiny Home is a class act that exceeded all my expectations. David and I can’t say enough good things. We are still talking about it.
— C. Re-Fowlkes, Arlington, TX Workshop
The pace of the workshop was great for instructional. The professionals were clear and concise with instruction blocks, and were supportive while we learned.
— T. Cupid, Orlando, FL Workshop
Zack took his time to instruct newcomers and made everybody feel welcome. He explained the steps necessary to accomplish the build and I enjoyed seeing from the beginning how a house comes together.
— I. Cotto, Veteran, Orlando, FL Workshop
I learned so much in such a short time frame. I was able to participate at my own pace and there was always a wide variety of areas to keep everyone interested. I was able to always get all of my answers to any questions. I was a novice in so many ways but being in an environment where you felt welcomed and everybody was interested in giving all they had was phenomenal. Even with all the hard work the atmosphere created was infectious and you did not want to leave at the end of each day!
— G. Lewis, Veteran Participant, Arlington, TX Workshop
The joy I received and the friendships I made were beyond my expectation!
— E. Toney, Veteran Participant, Muskogee, OK Workshop
This workshop was a game changer for me. I feel like I got flipped upside down and turned inside out. The Operation Tiny Home team was absolutely incredible. They all took the time to teach me, grow me, challenge me, feed me, and love me.
— M. Sheehan, Veteran, Racine, WI Workshop Attendee
Learned a lot, met a great group of people, and did something that will make a difference in someone’s life. We did something beautiful for a person that deserves to know that there are people who care and love them. So rewarding.
— R. Cranely, Veteran Participant, Racine, WI Workshop
The pace of the workshop was great for instructional. The professionals were clear and concise with instruction blocks, and were supportive while we learned.
— T. Cupid, Veteran, Orlando, FL Workshop
I did an Operation Tiny Home workshop with Zack in WI. You will learn something. He’s the real deal.
— R. LaHue, Veteran, Racine, WI Workshop
I like building stuff and helping fellow veterans and I got to do that and it was a lot of fun.
— C. Galusha, San Antonio, TX Workshop
I enjoyed meeting and interacting with everyone. Neither Zack nor other experts ever made me feel “stupid” or acted impatient with questions. This was truly an experience to remember.
— L. Rush - Veteran, San Antonio, TX Workshop
